OUR HISTORY
NGO "Foundation for Community Development" was established in 2012 in Kramatorsk, Donetsk region. The initiative of the foundation arose from a group of concerned individuals who sought to transform the world around them for the development and improvement of society.
NGO "Foundation for Community Development", a non-governmental organization, was established in 2012 in Kramatorsk, Donetsk Oblast. The fund's initiative arose from a group of concerned individuals who sought to transform the world around them for the sake of developing and improving society.
The foundation began its activities by involving the community in conversation clubs, conducting educational events, studying environmental issues, and promoting environmentally friendly behavior.
Since 2014, due to the war in eastern Ukraine, the organization has expanded its activities to assist internally displaced persons. New projects have been launched to support the elderly, people with disabilities, and families with children. In addition, the foundation has been actively organizing cultural and artistic events in various cities in the Donetsk region.
In 2022, due to hostilities in Donetsk Oblast, the foundation was forced to relocate to Vinnytsia Oblast, but did not cease its activities. Previous experience was used to work in the Bar community on integrating displaced persons into host communities, training local activists in community activities and fundraising.
In early 2024, the organization returned to its hometown with new initiatives and projects. Currently, the team in Kramatorsk has ?? employees. Despite the proximity of hostilities, there are two spaces where the foundation implements humanitarian aid and social support projects, conducts educational and cultural events involving local residents and IDPs, the elderly, and young people.
